🦷 Vatech Perfit ZR™ TSML – Translucent & Shade Multilayer Zirconia
Perfit ZR™ TSML is an advanced 9-layer (5+4) multilayer zirconia disc designed to deliver superior translucency and natural gradient esthetics while maintaining high flexural strength. It combines incisal translucency with cervical strength, making it ideal for both anterior and posterior monolithic restorations.
🎨 9-Layer Seamless Multilayer Structure
- 5 main layers with 4 smooth transition zones (5+4 structure)
- Natural enamel-to-dentin gradient without visible boundary lines
- High translucency in the incisal zone (approx. 46–50%)
- High strength in the dentin zone (up to 1,100 MPa)
- Layer distribution based on 14 mm disc height for predictable esthetics
🔥 Recommended Sintering Schedule (TSML: 1,530°C, dwell for 2 hours)
For optimal translucency, flexural strength, and dimensional stability, follow the recommended sintering cycle below:
| Step | Starting Temp (°C) | Target Temp (°C) | Heating / Cooling Rate (°C/min) | Holding Time (h) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Room Temp | 1,200 | +10 | - |
| 2 | 1,200 | 1,530 | +2 | - |
| 3 | 1,530 | 1,530 | - | 2 |
| 4 | 1,530 | Room Temp | -8 (natural cooling) | - |
Note: Volume change occurs around 1,000°C, color change around 1,400°C, and coloring liquid diffusion between 1,450–1,550°C.
